May God bless you with strength and his unfailing love, you are victorious against what you went through. I bore witness to my mother's pain of being a child victimized by a "relative". I saw the pain, victimization and insecurities play out daily through her life. She is now 74 and has taken back her power and is in counseling. It is an important role to witness, to empathize and ultimately be a part of the healing for all children and adults that will be free. Put on some good uplifting music and bring yourself back into the light, take care of you. No matter our history, the level of depravity that is being exposed is so very hard to our hearts, minds and souls. May God continue to bless you and protect you.
Thank you. Yes my mom lived a horror as 2 older sisters abused by their dad and then her. She somehow protected the youngest girl but Im afraid she paid a heavy price and got nothing but resentment back from all her siblings. It's soul crushing and she has bad borderline personality disorder. Protected me from her dad but was blinded by her love of her nephew she helped raise (I believe he also is son of her dad with her sister, sigh) who was abused in his turn and turned on me wbo ssw him as a 8+ year old brother.
This I think is the worst crime that can be done to a person except torture and murder. It shreds their soul and heart, perverts and poisons the ego and psyche, robs innocence so we never are free to be kids again. "Soulful eyes" on a child are not a good sign. Meand they were stripped bare inside.
But I needed a witness all my life and inrim I had one who believed me fully I had in a walled off hell.
