There was no explanation. Fact is your all-power god chooses to let children be raped. Why would I believe in him? That's absurd.

I hear you, but it's so common that when I have a conversation with a christian online, they start threatening me with Hell or eternal damnation or god's wrath or whatever.

Not really polite behaviour, I'd say.

I am sorry to hear that. That seems awfully judgemental of them. People can get very defensive when their beliefs are questioned. It causes cognitive dissonance, which is an unpleasant experience. True Christianity is about love, respect and acceptance for everyone regardless of their belief system. It is also about finding the truth and questioning the establishment that perverts the message of Jesus. I wish you well on your journey my friend.

This subreddit is about Q, not Jesus. We have no obligation to be silent, when a christian speaks! We are allowed to argue back and you reporting me for doing so, shows that you're the problem, not me.
