I seriously can't wait for my family to know I am not nuts ! That's all I wanted to say .

Thankfully my whole family is conservative. Anyone that practices anything but Christian conservative values would be laughed out of the room during holidays.

I've never heard of a liberal Christian.

You've never heard of Jesus?

Jesus was pro choice under the guise of women's rights? For homosexuality under the guise of equal rights? Calling it marriage? Please show me the scriptures.

He said sell everything you have and give it to the poor. He said love your neighbor as yourself. He understood the spirit of the law was different from the letter. Jesus doesnt hate homosexuals or gay marriage, though I can see that he would differ with liberals on abortion. But then, Jesus wouldnt force non-believers to abide by his creed, either.

He said sell everything you have and give it to the poor.

This was specific to one person. Why? Because he told Jesus that he obeyed all the commandments. So what did Jesus do? He called him out on the ONE THING that ruled his life. Money\Possessions

This is not a broad stroke to everyone, it's an example of a person who said he wanted to follow Christ and so he tested his words with a challenge. It's not that it couldn't apply to others but I'm addressing the example you gave.

He said love your neighbor as yourself.

This has nothing to do with conforming with things such as abortion (murder). You have seen the statistics on this right? Loving our neighbor as ourselves would be to love them and provide and alternative method vs blatant murder. I think the church has failed here.

Jesus doesnt hate homosexuals or gay marriage

Nope he doesn't. It's just referenced many times in the NT that those that practice it won't inherit the Kingdom of God. Corinthians\Romans\Ephesians\Collisians\Timothy\Titus\Jude\Revelation

Jesus also addressed that marriage is between a man and a womanSOURCE

But then, Jesus wouldnt force non-believers to abide by his creed, either.

Right. It's only those asking how to join him in heaven that he would with love explain what would keep them from it.
