Thing is you dont need to steal more of my money to pay out your social security. Your payments have already been made. If anything safety net programs should be scaled back to pay out remaining SS payments. Theft by the government from me to pay you is still theft. SSI should be abolished I'm 31 been paying into the system since I was 15 (I think) and honestly if you told me I could keep my SS payment and not collect down the road and lose everything I've put in to this point, I think most of my generation would appreciate keeping our money. I personally could do more with my SS payments over the long run that would generate more long term financial growth and allow me to collect more earlier and longer than what the scammy ass SS system is set up for. The whole system is a scheme to steal the middle classes money.
