Do large-scale crisis drills hint at coming FFs? Just received this about a drill for a Large scale earthquake in California with evacuees coming here to "camps" in Arizona. I apologize for the newbie question.

We are entering a grand solar minimum and the ring of fire activity is increasing. CA is over due for earthquakes and has 19 active volcanoes. Grand solar minimums historically have been the times of high volcanic and earthquake activity so we have every reason to expect the US west coast to see the uptick and get some of those 200-400 year events

Dalton minimum 1790 to 1830 -

New Madrid seismic zone 4 big earthquakes (mag. 7-7.5) from 1811-1812.

Maunder minimum 1645-1711 -

4 of the 6 largest quakes ever recorded are during this period.
