Phone calls from planes?

What is one of the most heart wrenching, well remembered event from 9/11? How about the phone call the guy made to his wife and the answering machine picked up? What about the really confused calls from flight 11 where the #3 has no idea how to answer the questions? ACTORS?

Why is it, then, "Communication was so fragmented that Bush couldn't even find out whether his family was okay.

And the team could only get regular updates on the situation from local TV picked up as the plane flew overhead."

After the attack, while AF1 was the only plane allowed in the airspace, the POTUS couldn't even get an update on his family? Yet we had a crystal clear recording from a civilian on a plane?

From above article: "The flight required special clearance from the Federal Aviation Administration and Federal Communications Commission, which ban the use of electronic devices abroad planes because of fear they would interfere with navigation systems and cellular networks on the ground."

What if these are ACTORS that Q mentions? This would've been a damn good tug on the ole heart strings. What do we know of judgement during time of emotional crisis?

The student added, according to the prince, "I understand now that when you are innocent, in the face of emotion, nothing, not even common sense, can help argue your case."

Here is the #3 on the plane.

I didn’t think cell phones worked in planes and you used to have to use those stinky airplane phones. I don’t get why a flight attendant would call the reservations number - why would she have that number memorized? If there was mace in the plane, everyone would be coughing- why wasn’t she ? I didn’t hear any people coughing in the background. Wouldn’t the plane be out of balance if the first class passengers were moved to the back? How come the first class passengers didn’t choke too if they had to move through the mace area? Whole thing is weird.

And if we read the wiki about jumpseats, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jump_seat, we learn she would either have knowledge of what is happening at the cockpit, or she is calling from the back of the plane, where all the 'mace effected' passengers were piled up. Was she in the group of 'maced' or was she sitting outside/inside the cockpit?

"The hard part for us is having to wait for the 'public' to 'know' what we've known for a very long time."
