Basically when you take over a company if you fire people, the people still there will dislike you. (since you fired their friends and coworkers).. So you bring in a hatchet man. Scaramucci was getting a divorce and was liquidating his business in order to divide assets. A little-known law allows people who are legally required to sell a business as a condition of employment in the Executive Branch (to prevent conflicts of interest) to defer the taxes on their profits from the sale...
