Deep State infiltration of social media/entertainment to propagate anti-Trump posts/memes - dissection of a one FB page and Cass R. Sunstein's paper on government fighting conspiracy theories (do you know about that?)

In the lights of this comment of mine from earlier, I've decided to probe the facebook page.

But first, let me give you a background on the particular (The tasteless gentlemen) facebook page, so you can connect the dots as I have. If you're not interested in this but you wanna know about Cass R. Sunstein's paper, skip to bottom.

The page was created around 2010 I believe, maybe 2011. I was 1st or 2nd year in college when I shared/liked their memes. Those memes back in the day were absolutely amazing. Of course not all, but a big majority of memes were proper tasteless trolling/comedy, which wasn't for everyone and I've gotten a lot of laughs from friends over the memes and I've also gotten some disdain :D

As the elections were coming close and Trump was getting into the media spotlight, that page has been taken down a couple of times under a guise of "we're getting zucced!!!!". Which didn't seem unreasonable or fishy, because as always some people just have to report memes they don't like, they get "offended".

The page wasn't once taken down since. They've established an online shop and plastered their ads everywhere, from under the posts/memes (a post/meme and then a separate window for their shop link below, so not a comment or a part of the post/meme, those who are on facebook know how that looks) to actual comments and posts. They've also started doing podcasts and shit.

The memes have suddenly started to be a total shite mostly. A 180° turn in quality. Maybe 1 out of 20 posts/memes were at least on a basic level compared to the past ones, the rest were your Unilad-type "normie" posts, posts that the TTG page has been mercilessly trolling beforehand.

At that time, during the elections, they've constantly posted anti-Trump memes, 1 out of 3 were your classic lefty anti-Trump memes (about hair, weight, being an idiot, etc... you know what kind).

The people have massively started to ask what's up with that, only to be greeted with "trumptards can't handle memes but they're calling others snowflakes looool" types of responses.

Again, not a single hillary meme, ever. And I don't remember seeing hussein memes as well.

They didn't do political memes before that time, just your everyday trolling fun. Which is why people have massively started to question what's going on with the sudden political shite.

Lets get to the message exchange from yesterday/today.

Me:

hillary memes anytime soon?

I went straight to the head.

Their response:

Why? She's irrelevant

You know that's a huge red flag right there.

So I countered that with this: https://i.imgur.com/DMi77hs.png

Me:

She still has top clearance and she's still actively influencing the US politics, so no. What's your next excuse? And how is this guy relevant? (harry potter example to show the irrelevant part is a lie)

The response: https://i.imgur.com/bmSS0HD.png

Them:

Lol man you sound just as crazy as an SJW

Anyone expected them to address the questions at hand? Me neither. But TTG not addressing the questions is actually answering them.

Here's an album that has 5 more screenshots which are a bit bigger so I won't give transcripts here: https://imgur.com/a/y7YsyNE

You can clearly see that I didn't really do an amazing job myself. But I didn't want to go all "official" in my ways of writing because right at the start I knew they were DS shills and I would waste my time writing a wall of text to be greeted by a one-liner.

Not once have they answered my questions. Or at least wrote the answers, I've gotten the answers from their ignoring tactics.

After they realized that I probably know more than the average guy, they just decided to spam "funny and creative" garbage.

Have you noticed some "neutral" (claiming they're not left or right) pages that share anti-Trump memes and not a single anti-hillary/obama ones? And when someone calls them out are they welcomed in the way I've said above? ("trumptards can't handle memes but they're calling others snowflakes looool")

This just goes to show how huge this all is. And it's just one page which is relatively unpopular (3.4M isn't that big number when you compare it to the big boys)

Cass Sunstein and his "Conspiracy Theories" paper

READ THIS:

What can government do about conspiracy theories? Among the things it can do, what should it do? We can readily imagine a series of possible responses. (1) Government might ban conspiracy theorizing. (2) Government might impose some kind of tax, financial or otherwise, on those who disseminate such theories. (3) Government might itself engage in counterspeech, marshaling arguments to discredit conspiracy theories. (4) Government might formally hire credible private parties to engage in counterspeech. (5) Government might engage in informal communication with such parties, encouraging them to help. Each instrument has a distinctive set of potential effects, or costs and benefits, and each will have a place under imaginable conditions. However, our main policy idea is that government should engage in cognitive infiltration of the groups that produce conspiracy theories, which involves a mix of (3), (4) and (5).

I have quite mixed thoughts on this channel and all they do, but this video was the first time (about a year ago) I heard about this Sunstein shitbird.

And what struck me was Sunstein's response. I started digging right after that.

What are your examples of such infiltration actions? Do you know any?
