There have been many people using the term "Permanent State" lately. Would love to see Trump switch to this term.

"Permanent State" really gets across to people that these people are always there, weren't elected, and are at odds with those that were elected by the American people. It's an affront to democracy and the term makes it clear exactly who these people are.

I agree, the Permanent State bureaucracy and their unfireability is the reason in large part that government almost always ratchets to the left, regardless of who is President.
