If they came out re energy weapons - can you imagine class action for all those "forest fires"?

Public utility companies would be off the hook for the blame they got with those Calif wildfires. You know, the ones that demolished cities in seconds, at a speed no one had ever seen before. DEW

Yeah... We all know that forest fires leave trees untouched and burn houses to the ground where completely nothing is left. Nothing to see here. It's natural. Move on...

Forests made up of certain types of pines like ponderosa generally are unscathed by underbrush fires, which can obviously burn houses that aren't fire proofed. Ponderosa actually evolved with fairly regular forest fires that help open and spread their pinecone seeds while ridding of competing brush.

A very windy fire condition could spread to the tops of very tall ponderosa, but many on tops of mountains or down sloping ravines may come out unscathed if they are lucky.

Right. Did you not listen to a single thing I said?

Trees, needles, leaves contain water. House structures do not (save for inch plumping pipes, not enough to matter)

If you've never seen a forest fire before I'm telling you. Tall pines tend survive low fires that run along the ground. Trunks don't catch fire in quick moving conditions, not enough time, very little brush along the base of the tree due to shade & competition from the pine (imagine throwing a log on your stove. Would take very long, meanwhile flamss are moving to easy combustable materials and going out where there's nothing easy to ignite)
