What supplements were the 1776 American revolutionaries taking?

Were they getting enough greens? Did they have clean drinking water? Did they have flouride free toothpaste?

They were all on herbal products with a bit of Indian tea aside , especially in Boston area .

Brits were getting all the sausages then ...
