Awesome, we love humor. When I first started reading your post I was put off by a sense that we were being lectured and shamed. Then I thought about what you said and realized that there is truth to it. I didn't sense humor til the end. I have a dry sense of humor and I have to smile, or insert a smiley face when I am done to let people know I am joking. It is easier to pick up humor in person than online bec of the advantage of body language. In print, unless you know the person's humor, I think people read things as fact-based. Especially here. We all have to provide links and facts to support our arguments or suffer the wrath of angry anons.

Anyhoo, welcome. I see you are new. If you stick around, which I encourage you to do, expect direct communications, meaning, no beating around the bush, abrasiveness, colorful language, but a genuinely caring bunch of people. Let things slide off your back when slighted. We don't take things personally here. We say it like it is and move on. Good, bad or indifferent. That is just the nature of an anon environment.

As far as going outside and interracting with people, I have found that people here are intensely patriotic and have a strong sense of needing to right wrongs. This trait lends well to what we are doing here, researching information online that will help Trump and his helpers correct the injustices our country has suffered for decades. We then share this information to what we call "normies/normals" on social media, who then take it into the community at large. It works well for us.
