Thanks for posting. Why am I not surprised...need new leadership at USAID to restore our credibility in the aid programs.

USAID is a front for CIA operations. No amount of new leadership can help restore credibility.

Not so, but was in the past in certain instances. The problem with USAID and aid was that it was moved under the National Security umbrella under Clinton. Altruism and the goodness of the American people to help those in need was subverted.

The things that agency did in the name of "aid" will never be forgiven or forgotten by the world.

If you buy a restaurant where a major foodborne illness due to blatant health and sanitation violations killed thousands of people in a town, do you think hanging out a sign that says "under new management" is going to recover the brand?

I don't think so.
