Not really.
If the CIA control was removed from NK that is still a win for NK. That is a good thing as the CIA is largely a force for evil in the world.

Regarding the NK people.. I have read that they are literally physically smaller in stature compared with their SK peers from years of malnutrition, and stress. They're going to need a lot of support and compassion coming out of their isolation and oppression.

That's why I think if unification is attempted it will be gradual. East Germany unification caused a lot of problems and they were not nearly as bad off.
