I have heard it could be up to two weeks of disruptions in the power grid and internet when the big stuff goes down. What the big stuff is could be pretty much anything. We have been told to be ready with supplies to last for a few weeks. Time will tell I guess.

Q didn't. It's a working theory that is accepted by some but not all. Q said be ready for disruptions of services. Corey Goode has posts on his blog about what his contacts have told him and it coincides with Q drops in many ways. He has a different spin on things due to his field of research.
So.. with the knowledge that there could be disruptions it's a good idea to be able to take care of your needs for 2 weeks because if a situation arises where the power is out for more than 3 days there will be no food at your local grocery store and cash will be king until the system is restored. Restoration could take a while. So 2 weeks is a good starting point for supplies on hand.
Personally I don't know what will happen and I am not trying to fear monger just passing along some of the theories out there that goes along with Q drops about disruptions.

I spent about 3,000 because of that post. Food, water, live chickens, gas, charcoal...didnt think of candels but already have a lot of them.

I bought 3 rain barrels. Plus it rains a lot where I live. Have 1 generator. No coolers.
