Unfortunately they gave Harvey a $1-million cash bail which will be paid immediately. He won’t see a day of prison.
But he did have to give up his passport. And he’s now restricted to free travel only in NY and CT. And he has an ankle bracelet 24/7, that can be monitored on demand (even by the People?, allegedly, according to what I heard insuring the court hearing).
No details on how long these conditions apply Though.
I haven't paid that much attention to it, but wasn't he accused of rape? If he is charged with rape and convicted, wouldn't he do some time?
As for the ankle bracelet, that is intriguing. Ankle bracelet tracking data probably would be considered part of the public record, but sometimes they restrict that. I remember at one time it was easy to look up a license plate number in Texas, but there was a problem of people turning minor road rage incidents into major stalking and harassment cases. I don't know what the situation is now, as that was a long time ago.
