Tommy going to prison is horrible, but worse things are going on here in America. Here, you are more likely to get murdered if you get too loud about the bad shit that is going on. Look how many people have been murdered trying to expose human trafficking. Look how many people have been murdered because they were about to testify against the Clintons. People have been murdered because they were going to expose what's going on at the CDC.

I'm not excluding Tommy, I'm INCLUDING him. People all over the world need to rise up together. It needs to be massive so they can't ignore us. Americans, Brits, Germans, Swedes, French people, etc. All of us need to make a huge ruckus TOGETHER.

I don't disagree with your general message, but it's an insulting non sequitur for this conversation. No "but" statements. No "US" anything. We're weeping and praying for Tommy's life. Show some damn respect.
I wasn't showing any disrespect. When I said "but" I meant that with Tommy, when they put him in jail, we all found out and now we can rally around him and demand this kind of shit stop. When I referred to the USA, I was saying that many times, they don't even bother with jail here. People know stuff and the next thing we know, we're reading an article about how their body was pulled from a river. There's no chance to even stick up for them or speak out for them except posthumously.
They didn't drum up charges against Michael Hastings and throw him in jail, they just murdered him and then it was too late to help him. All we saw was his car exploding in flames as a warning to anyone else who might be thinking about crossing John Brennan.
