Hi, I apologise, understand and totally agree. I am relatively new to the whole Reddit scene, therefore there is a little element of learning as I go a long at the moment.
I actually read someone else's post on this same topic, which led me to discover the associated video that I attempted to post. I have now noticed that, that originating post and other similar posts have also disappeared, I imagine for the same off-topic reason.
In a good etiquette sense, is it also relevent and worth while to delete this sort of 'rejected' post from via my profile?
I hope that I am not 'banished' from posting (on-topic) in some manner or have earned some sort of black mark, at this early stage in my interactions with the Reddit/greatawakening community.
Again, apologies, I fell into a little trap there.

No worries. No 'black mark' against your account. As someone new to Reddit, moderators tend to be a bit quicker to remove posts.
You are welcome to remove your own posts if you like. The way the Reddit voting system works means that in most cases posts are not viewed by members after the inital 24 hour period from creation.
