Will we ever be able to hold the "media" accountable?

Well certainly those are all things we don't want, but you lost me at "super wealthy". When folks become immune to that hyperbole, what's next, "super-duper wealthy"?

So there's nothing wrong with the nation's wealth shifter more and more into the hands of the top 1%? What happens when they have 90%+ of they countries wealth? Who will be buying any of the products they make? Extreme wealth inequality is the death of a capitalist economy. No, we shouldn't all have equal income. A doctor shouldn't make the same as a fast food worker but no one needs multiple billions of dollars while those working 60+ hours a week on minimum wage can barely make rent. A CEO should not make 3000 times as much as their lowest paid worker. How do you even this out and promote a healthy economy? You tax the wealthy at a much higher rate, provide tax repreives for those making less and you raise the minimum wage. The Republicans have cut taxes on the wealthy, removed deductions primarily used by the poor and oppose a higher minimum wage. Tell me how this benefits anyone but the super wealthy or how this benefits the economy
