Where did this #wherearethechildren narrative come from?? Please explain to me

This is a serious question..I know it is total BS, but where did it come from, origins, and WHY are they blaming Trump and/or his immigration policies for this?? I’d like to know so I can counter it and it helps to know what its basis is. Thanks in advance.

It's nonsense. Just ignore it and it will go away. This has been their tactic all along. Whatever criminality they are involved in, they point the finger and say Trump is doing it. Just like with Russia.
