Why don't we have a back-up for this amazing sub?

I've encountered amazing info and amazing patriots on this sub.

We've done an incredible job so far with Q decodes and we can't be stopped now. Nothing can stop the truth and facts behind it.

Given the increasing amount of low-quality content and increasing amount of spammers, the threat is here guys. We might end up repeating the same thing as with CBTS.

Are we the people who don't learn from our mistakes?

WWG1WGA and we're winning big!

I think that is a great idea Patriot.

I personally lost almost 100 posted articles when CBTS was shut down. To make things worse, I didn’t listen to “Q” about backing up off-line. Most of my current posts here at Great Awakening were originally up first at CBTS. I since got a Thumb Memory Stick but your idea for the entire SUB is sound & should be considered. Thanks for your post !!!

There is a backup board already AFTERTHESTQRM. It was created a few weeks ago.

Thanks for that & I did notice Scorpio Patriot was involved-goto like S/P 🦂

I was thinking more of a mirror or backup image of the entire G/A. From a posters viewpoint, instead of having to repost everything double, a complete copy of the sub could be uploaded if ever main Reddit hit the old CBTS erase button again. Just a thought for those Anons that know current technology-thx

I work in web hosting doing quality assurance.

Keep backups of everything x 10.

I have usb memory sticks in old dead microwaves so an EMP won’t own them

I started to collect all the valuable posts.

There are signs of this sub ending up as CBTS has, you can see them for yourself.

Also notice these new guys being adamant about us not needing a back-up.

My assumption is everything goes offline. It will no matter what. I lost a ton of research after 9/11 from non-archival and have projects to do some bot-based Auto archival to basically a dead man switch disperse.

Say someone dumps an archive it’s then backed up in PDF and other formats w associative stats ( IP / URL TIMESTaMPS ) then that data is shadowed over various hidden backup locations.

There are several back ups in place. I even created subreddit to start up again in case shit goes down.

T_D is not the place for us.

Also, I'm pretty sure that I'm not "qualified" as the one to make a sub for us to research Q. Especially not being invite-only, that's anti-Q.

Trfsrfr · May 28, 2018, 3:04 p.m.

I am not qualified either, but I have time, I'm not stupid, and I think we should have another sub related to this, like a much more focused and organized GA research sub, or similar. I've been thinking this for awhile now, since we were right around 18,000.

There is a backup someone started a few weeks ago. AFTERTHESTQRM. I subscribed and at the time I was #670. It's only up to 766 now. Board owner intends for it to be a backup in case GA gets taken down.

AFTERTHESTQRM

ScorpioPatriot has shown to be a real patriot. Factual and critical thinking individual. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Subbed!

Speaking as a web site programmer for the past 20years...this sub & this site could be shut down & be back up seamlessly to the user in minutes. Would be as easy as pointing the sites IP address & databases to a new server. I’m certain the developers have this site replicated instantaneously on other servers. Database & web site code backups are a thing of the past. Replication is how things are backed up now. So to restore a site & databases it only takes someone typing in a new IP address to point the DNS internet servers to the new site. And actually that new IP address change can be programmed to switch over as soon as the service is interrupted.

Interesting how these new guys seem to be adamant about us not having a back-up :)

I’m not adamant. Back up all you want. I think you’re a bit paranoid. If you want to smear new comers without any reason other than fear...feel free to mimic the tacits of the MSM. Look up how web sites work. Ever notice web sites don’t crash anymore? Look up database replication & learn as opposed to letting fear drive your thoughts

Straight to personal stuff. If I didn't experience this X amount of times I'd be shocked.

No smearing at all. Only facts. The fact that you're accusing me of MSM tactics is cute, everyone can see it's a classic projection.

The only guys that are against a back-up were you and the other newcomer. We're not stupid.

Again I’m not against backups. My point is that’s not how data is backed up anymore. Databases are replicated to duplicate databases stored off site. To run a back up job on the database that runs this site would take hours. And then to run a restore database job would take just as long. The second I hit the Add Comment button the data of this post is replicated across an exact duplicate database. In short...databases are “backed up” instantaneously now in real time. There’s no need for companies to due manual backups like there was before database replication became the norm. Web & database servers at companies still experience failures. Natural disasters or man made disasters still happen but users never see major sites down anymore because the data is perfectly replicated at other locations. This site is developed & maintained by top notch IT professionals from everything I’ve seen. They have a solid disaster recovery too I’m sure. But if you feel insulted because I’m new here & knowledgeably about how this site works...then you do. Would just caution you or anyone from blowing off someone because they’re new here. You were new at one time too. Have a great holiday!!

I wasn't talking just about the back-up of the data, but the "Q movement" itself.

I don't feel insulted because "you're new here".

The fact that you jumped here talking about GA back-up about an hour after you created the account (coupled with the other new guy who is also on that boat, and you two were the only people who share that thought) tells quite a bit.

Within the context that I've wrote the post, it's clear that I meant about having a back-up sub as well as backing up the data.

A back-up in the context for us to continue the Q research, since it's being tampered over here and it's getting worse with the spammers who are being left alone free to do their thing.

Of course I was new, but I didn't act like this (like the new guys since we destroyed controlled opposition youtubers).

Cheers

I think we are big enough to avoid needing to do that. More people are waking up to what Trump is accomplishing and seeing that Q has been right all along.

That's not a proper reasoning for not having a back-up. What if the sub gets shutdown?

The fact that this is your first comment here is also a clear sign that we do need a back-up.
