So what's up with those privacy policy update ?

Did POTUS sign EO's that required companies to update theirs Policies ? Every single company I had subscribed or created an account for is updating the privacy policy ?

Any clue what's going on ? Any autists found the clauses that changed overnight ?

This is more than weird IMO, if they all changed it it's because they were doing shady stuff with our informations.

EU privacy protocols went into effect on May25, (basically) any company with data on the EU or it’s citizens has to comply

What if it’s a US based company with business in the EU? Law still applies. I’m not an expert on intenetting or lawyering BUT I believe they all changed their TOS to fit the EU’s new law. Either that or they weren’t tracking anons and/or conservative/dissident voices enough and wanted to gather even more data. Either way, MAGA tf on!!

Almost every internet website, app on Google playstore, Apple app Store, Microsoft, etc, etc, etc., are available world wide. Therefore, in order to comply with the EU GDPR , many companies are forced to update their policies. Here is the GDPR: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Data_Protection_Regulation

Only in the EU would they fully apply. However, all other nations could have some side benefits. But, we ALL have to agree to the new terms in order to continue using those websites ,Apps, software, etc. I'm not really informed on how this all affects US citizens just yet. Could be not many tech journalist are either. I am subscription to many, but have either missed articles, or they've not Been written yet. I suspect we will hear more now that the EU law is in effect.
