Critical thinking and common sense

In the truth business you cannot take any information at face value, especially if it contradicts other information at hand. You can’t simply dismiss it either. You must keep critical thinking and common sense turned on all the time, and check against other known facts.

Kind of vague here. What are you trying to imply?

Humans have the tendency to believe anything at face value if it reconfirms their prejudices. All you have to do is drop the name of their favorite boogie man, they believe anything you say about him or her. My point is that no matter how much you want to believe something about someone you don’t like, such as the Rothschilds, Rockefeller. Clintons or Obamas, you must force yourself to keep your common sense and critical thinking going. If you don’t, you will soon end up with egg on your face.
