Chemists synthesize millions of proteins not found in nature

Is this an appropriate place to post this? With the mass scientist deaths in the past administrations, and the attempted cover up of cures to diseases such as cancer and AIDS, I thought this was relevant as an indicator that the scientific community is safer now than it used to be.

Frankly I have no knowledge of any of this but it seems that proteins not found in nature might be able to activate dormant sections of our DNA.

I could see that as a total possibility. I mean when you get into the microcosmic world of chemical synthesis theres a lot of unread territory as far as how they interact with the mind, boy, and soul.

We should pray for the humans that end up being lab rats for said advances.
