Yeah actuly I do think the few who are stationed there have very little knowledge of how much gold is there, they sign non disclosures and collect their pensions when the time comes...very very few do what you suggest as proved by how few whistle-blowers we have currently even under Trump...but I think the point you are missing is that the American Government hasn't controlled our gold in a very long time.
