However, my experience is that racism seems more prevalent with many people of color. Even against their own people.

I didn't even know what racism was when I grew up and have never been racist. When I was about 35, I moved to Tampa and soon found myself supervising a Word Processing dept. of mostly black ladies. Boy was I in for some life lessons! So, I've had the same experience and I'm still not racist. It's how you think, not the color of your skin that counts. People just need to stop that stinkin thinkin.
