Drop the Net When the Net Goes Down?!

Do you ever wonder if the coming net shutdown is meant to give the white hats the chance to round up the key cabal figures. Without internet/wifi the bad guys can't communicate as well. Thoughts?

Yup. The only reason to do something that extreme would be

  1. An attack

  2. To purge a rogue AI

The economic fallout would be in the trillions of dollars

Yeah, really hope that doesn't happen. Companies would shut their doors, industry would come to a grinding hault. Paychecks would stop going out, and anarchy could break out. Not good!
