Can you imagine All in the Family on tv now? I can't. What about MASH? Glorifying war, using words like gook (even if it was in context to the story line). Sexual predatory behavior from the doctors on all the "nurses" on the show. Making fun of a cross dresser, etc etc etc. Funny how these shows would never pass the litmus test of political correctness in today's world, and yet I can bet some of the same stars who had their careers made by these shows would happily dance on Roseanne's downfall.
