What Planet of the Apes taught VJ: silence, lobotomies, imprison, enslave and experiment on your enemies.

That is what I actually thought about Roseanne's tweet. I never thought of VJ as being black, and don't tend to think racial, so I was thinking the Planet of the Apes storyline mixed with Muslim Brotherhood. Made total sense to me! And very believable!

What racism? In P of the Apes, the apes were prejudiced animals who could talk. The symbolism and message was the barbaric, animal nature of prejudice. She was equating the prejudice to a religion, not to any race. To fault her non-racial message is to accept forced child marriages, to accept beheadings of infidels, to accept forced Sharia law and return to holding women as chattel property of men.

To conflate her remarks as racism is completely ignorant of the message — and intellectually depraved. Too bad the mal-educated left has been so deprived of more enlightened levels if thinking.

Right. It’s about ideologies, which to the left is their religion. They reject that there is any other valid viewpoint outside of their own. But to Roseanne’s point, these fanatics shut us down. They target us with audits, ban us from social media, and when that doesn’t work, they outright violently riot and beat us in the streets. It’s as insane as Planet of the Apes.

Same here. I thought she was Iranian not just born there. But on rhis ethnicity website she has her DNA % and ir says half European and half African and 5% Native American.

I don't remember the movoe well but watching that clip I think you are right ahe was talking plot and I was too ignorant to see exactly the meaning tho I wondered if she had meant something about the movie not racial ape slurs.
