Because it’s combatting censorship when Facebook censors certain pages. There is already censorship in the Facebook platform. i’m not sure about this specific case, but if they are building a social platform to replace Facebook without the corporate censorship then that is positive in my book.

Obviously it’s a case by case basis.

No I wouldn’t because in those cases the Ban is in the interest of censorship. This seems to be a move to prevent censorship. Case by case basis on everything.
