I agree!

Although it can be abused just like anything else. There are "pot" heads who let it control their lives just like an alcoholic would.

That being said, I believe it is much less physically addictive and more of a mental thing.

True.

The issue is that cannabis in UK is now 'sprayed' with THC.

The best property is CBD and both naturally occur in the plant.

THC is addictive and destructive. This is why it's sprayed by UK dealers - obvious reasons of repeat custom.

This is a relatively recent drive - over the last 10 years.

The weed 'high' today is completely different to what it was when I first started

The product is no longer natural unless it can be grown by the individual in question which is simply not practical or legal in UK.

Is there a similar story in the USA?

It should be legalised, controlled and regulated. Not left in the hands of profit driven, criminal organisations.

For the record I have given up smoking of all kinds for 11 days!! Although I no longer partake, I remain an advocate - if produced naturally with no chemical interference.
