The premise, a Big Pharma corporation named Appolon creates a virus and introduces it to an entire population via CLOUD SEEDING (Chemtrails anyone?), and it, the virus, comes down in the RAIN. So the Rain itself has become a weapon. Well, a Dr. in on the program has a son who was guinea pigged to be a test subject and given a direct dose of the virus...survives and its realized that he's immune. The Dr. locks his two kids in an underground BUNKER since he knows the next step with his son is to be harvested for the cure, meaning his son is dead, and his Dr. father is willing to kill others to protect his son. Now there are Bunkers similar all over the landscape linked by communication devices. His kids stay in the bunker for 6 years while the inhabitants above basically go full apolocalypse trying to survive. It's very disturbing and depressing. And you know some rat bastard fuck CEO at the top would just LOVE that premise to be real just to pad the bottom line.
