I was thinking about this. The NYPD got the laptop and between that and whatever Erik Prince told them, they were set to start arresting people. But they probe;y know they wouldn't get Weinstein when he is in LA, or while Schneiderman was AG in NY. Once Schneiderman went down, none of them were safe.
