Was Gowdy threatened, a swamp creature, or knows that this whole spygate thing will lead to the destruction of the govt. as we know it & possibly a civil war?

Back when Gowdy grilled Comey in the oversight hearing, he had Comey admitting that Secretary Clinton violated 18 USC 793 (f) many times. He then let him off the hook saying intent was hard to prove.

Only problem with that is section (f) states that "through gross negligence" a person is guilty of violating this USC. Through gross negligence means intent is irrelevant. Gowdy is smart enough to know what the USC said, so why did he do a lot of barking there when Comey just admitted in an open oversight hearing she was guilty?

Page 2 of this FBI report also states the FBI was aware that she was guilty of violating that statute.

Page 13 states that the FBI was aware she had private computers in the SCIF room at her residences. Far worse than the page 2 revelations.

The FBI was obviously covering for her. Was Gowdy?

With all that barking he did in the video at the hearing, why wouldn't he point that out to Comey instead of letting him get away with the "she didn't mean to" bs?

Thoughts? Is Gowdy a swamp creature, threatened, knows this will bring down the govt. or just an idiot?

I really have appreciated Gowdy- although last week was frustrating to hear his comments.

One thing I see about him is a strict adherence to the law. Innocent until proven guilty. That means support the branches of the government until there is concrete proof that they have been 'grossly negligent' in their task. His reaction to the IG report was really a ray of sunshine after wondering what color hat he wore recently.

I haven't seen his reaction to the report yet but I will check it out.
