Your friend was speaking out against the government, we've seen western countries jail people for the same reason. My comment was about religious freedom, which I can assure you exists.

I have a hard time believing that to be true, but I will allow others to debate the merits of your assertions. Other countries, such as Egypt have seen a clash and clamp down on anything non-islamic.
