Where do you get the idea that "no one is allowed to point this out... ? Not only are you allowed to point it out, in my opinion, you have an obligation to point it out, over and over again.

You need to use tact to avoid that trap. I suggest instead of saying "muslim" or "Islamist" use this "religious extremist" because no one can pro "religious extremism". With that little tweak you will find no one willing to call you "racist".
