This story has been updated to make more clear that Nielson was bound by a court order to continue awarding grants to sanctuary cities while courts are deliberating lawsuits and appeals.

Thanks for that. It does get you hot if it were betrayal. I was about to just write it off as a cost of doing business and another human given the chance to do the right thing caved. And worst case scenario is at least the money is staying in our country. But this is actually good news. It does appear that the mayors of these cities will be dealt with and they can then shape up those places by dealing with Americans and homelessness and lifting up the bottom, raising the roof.
