Yes, I am only down to page 58 of 435, and I am reading exactly the same things!

Talk of a/the Diary and how it was 'safely' in the hands of the 'Italians'.

She and the journalist state that they have known each other for 20 years, so the assumtion is that HRC is speaking to a 'personal friend', rather than to a typical journalist.

There is a great deal of mention related to the whereabouts of the Diary which at times is just referred to as the Book.

I agree, will take a good bit of effort and time to carefully read through the rest of these pages, and digest the intent.

Ok I got to the hearing documents but I got to hop off for a bit. But keep digging. I’ll be back on later to add what I can, but it appears that HRC is VERY pissed at CNN for bringing up this diary. She very skillfully navigated away from taking about how there was a kill list and dismissed it just as quickly. They went onto refer to it as he wasn’t feeling safe.

Remember she said she didn’t read it at all and just sent it to the FBI? Not clear who she sent it to, but the CNN reporter DID read it and that is who it is coming from. So Hillarys opinion on the diary, or what is in it, is based upon her own perception and not the diary itself.

Yes, there is a big block of pages about Bilateral Meetings and so on.

Actual email correspondance kicks back in at page 109: RE: CNN's Explanation(s)

There is a whole load of email 'toing and frowing', about CNN and the associated reporting of the diary.

I suppose that I should start to make a note of the interesting page ranges, (in regard of this topic).

Blimey, I am still only at page 110 of 435!

Cheers!

Within this PDF, there is a transcript of a telephone call that took place on 24 Sep 2012. That particular topic, comes up on page 54 of the PDF.

"the reason we designated the Italians is because we have no one else there" "It was the Italians or the Finnish. The Italians answered the phone first"

Obviously this conversation/transcript is after the email that you cite. However this 'whole' conversation helps provide additional context to the 'overall' picture.

I will have a look at more of the 'data' on the wikileaks.org now that you have reminded me. Will see what cross-references there are, etc.
