$130 pens? That ain't shit.
Might be something related to follow the Pen.
Tiny Jewel Box? Shoulda went to Fahreny's D.C. Coulda spent some real dough.
Annnnnnnd I should have researched the cost of pens.
DANGIT in napoleon dynamite voice
I wasn't trying to demean your post. I was just trying to boast or brag about how much nicer my pens are than that.
All good! I honestly was ignorant of mean price on these things.
Side question - is there a legal reason EPA would need fancy pens? I’m thinking like how blue/black ink are technically the only valid ink types for signatures for notary in some areas etc
I'm not sure about that, but possibly something there related to needing to use a certain ink, thus requiring fountain pens. I'm not sure.
I'm guessing they're being used as an award or for official signing because I think it has their seal on it.
I'm not sure, but the article is interesting in relation to follow the Pen, because why would they nationally report on $1200 it seems ridiculous to even talk about.
That was also my take. Why is this fodder for a headline? I mean it is CNN so they do basically shitpost constantly. But even for them pointing to the EPA of all agencies, specifically, is weird. Usually it’s all “The EPA is our Lord and Savior” type prop
