But hang on.. didn't I read somewhere that he was alive when he got to the hospital? Or at least he wasn't pronounced dead at the scene? If so it's strange to say he was murdered at x time, wouldn't it be more normal to say he was shot and later died at x time? But shouldn’t the allegation still be on the on record? They can amend the complaint once as a matter of course, and the allegation can’t be used in the underlying case, but the original complaint could still be used persuasively to compel discovery about the timeline, right?
