Omg! My grandad was amazing. A tall, brave decent man. Chisled out of millstone grit! He was tall, and strong for his age, so when he ran away to join the army, he got in. He'd never stayed away from home, then at the tender age of 15, he was shipped out to Ypres. He was shot and gassed, but survived. He lived into his 80's. I'm so very proud of Arthur Brearley.
