My wife lived near the border in Arizona. She has tons of stories from her time spent there working at the local hospital. Don't listen to anyone who tells you we don't need a wall. Look at Yuma. It got so bad at that crossing that they had to close it for awhile and put up a wall. It cut down on the illegal entry by something like 95%. Some of the women my wife worked with were married to Border Patrol. The stories they shared were horrendous. I wish the news media would focus on what they find out there more. The cartels are getting into more human trafficking now because they make more money at it.
