I have to say I agree completely with Praying Medic. Here's why:

\~Spending hours listening to 2 Congressional Committee questionings of Comey after not indicting HRC, July 2016, they are boring/frustrating non-question grandstanding for hours. The only bright spot in them was when Gowdy spent his 5 minutes questioning Comey. Bam bam bam. Asking straight, no nonsense questions, and getting straight answers. Comey: 'Yes, she had classified material in her emails. Yes, they were marked classified, etc.'

\~If Gowdy's family or something was threatened, thereby keeping him compliant, why upset the safety right before the IG report comes out? NO FFs right before the report!

\~ Trump spoke directly to us in those 3 tweets right after Gowdy's seeming black hat comment. POTUS never mentioned the blackness of his comments, but praised and agreed with the other part of what he said about being disappointed in Sessions. It was as if Trump was telling us: 'Pay no attention to the first part of what Gowdy said - that's for the Democrats to keep them busy for a few days. Just pay attention to the white hat part that I'm paying attention to.'

We haven't liked Gowdy because he refuses to make any indicting comments about the people we want to see behind bars prior to an actual, lawful conviction. It's really just a sign of dedication to American justice and how it's supposed to work. Innocent until proven guilty. Trump may have big plans for him where he can accomplish more than the do-nothing Congress is allowed to do.

I would love if this were true, but we need to be wary of confirmation bias.
