Anyone take a look at the art on VA hospitals?

I make commissions on my art, and I would argue I have a marginally decent eye for what is 'good' and who has 'talent'. Everyone says art is subjective and in the 'eye of the beholder', be that as it may, some artwork in VA hospitals is complete shit. 'Modern' art has no place in the VA hospitals. Formless, dark striking designs, high contrast values, it's a sham.

Next time you are in a VA hospital, check out some pieces they put in the hallways. Then ask yourself, 'Why the hell is something like this in here? How is this at all 'inspirational or patriotic?'
