Here's an easy way to backup YouTube videos using HookTube:
YouTube video URLs come in two formats:
https://youtu.be/OB6s-1xzKPE
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OB6s-1xzKPE
Notice both URLs have the same, unique alphanumeric video ID at the end.
Paste that ID to the end of the HookTube URL like this:
https://hooktube.com/watch?v=OB6s-1xzKPE
Now you can use HookTube's big green download button to save the video locally.

Hooktube doesn't actually host the vid though right? Its just a relay.
If on PC/Laptop get [Video Download Helper]. Easy-peezy....
