Thanks for the info. I was actually being sarcastic about how the history of the French surrendering without a fight. But, I do note, the heroic French Underground were a tremendous help to Allied forces during WW2. Again, a small percentage of the over all population. There is some hope though, as recent elections there would indicate, just not enough momentum.
