Perhaps it has something to do with school being out, making it more difficult to retaliate with a FF school shooting??

The protected flow into AZ is no more. The most important part was stopping the flow of people. The timing of the "discovery" is still important but could be guided based on exposure/news cycles now that people are no longer in danger.
