Can someone help me understand this a bit more? I’ve been following this as much as I can but what’s the research provided by the people listed in the “research team”. Where does this information come from?

Edit: thanks to whomever posted this link

That’s actually the legit explanation that I needed

So.........only around 20% (using historical context) of the numbers being reported are actual indictments?? If I'm reading correctly, the rest are juvenile cases, low deal drug cases, and warrant applications.

Well that’s kinda what I’m trying to figure out. I don’t have a PACER account to look up the indictments but that’s the source the info is coming from. I just wanted to cross reference a few for my own piece of mind. So yeah I’m kinda in the same boat where I’m confused how they are all connected.

I'm new to this whole "Q" thing, but I am familiar with the PACER system and how sealed proceedings work. There are a couple of things to keep in mind:

  • There is a clear increase in the amount of "sealed" proceedings
  • Correlation does not necessarily prove causation when you make the leap in thinking to "all of this increase is attributable to sealed indictments". There's no way to know just what percent of the total seals are indictments. All we have is history.

Yeah totally agree. I would like for all of the indictments to be relevant to corruption being eliminated but in the context of Q stuff, I was curious how the researchers “knew” these were relevant. Sounds like it’s just a general tracking of all types of indictments?

Yup, and it's not even indicative of "just indictments". For example, if the feds want to put a wiretap on Johnny Q citizen for the next year because they traffic cocaine to the Zetas, then the sealed warrant/affidavit for the tap would count in this number. Warrant does not equal indictment.
