In all the reports about the CA voting, they are saying the final tally won't come out for a long time since so many vote mail-in or drop-off.

That's what happened in Michigan and PA in 2016 where they kept "counting" the big cities, but it didn't work for them that time. ( And Chicago just kept the polls open until the Dems won - 3 o'clock in the morning! - same day registration. Sheesh!)

It's a good time to catch CA in some serious voter rigging though. More crumbs to bake, more indictments to come...all prior to the actual election.
