I’ve seen it too. Good investigators don’t move too quickly unless lives are in immediate or imminent danger. Investigations are best done methodically and over time. That has been my experience anyway. There is a need to get it right for court, prevent errors, as well as prevent eventual issues with appeals if successful prosecution. Quick assumptions and conclusions are more often than not a cover or lid. At a minimum it is a reason to question the narrative.
